New website and blog

Hello everyone, this must be my 3rd website since I started my art business. The reason being is that my other 2 websites, which I was very proud and happy with have just disappeared! The site addresses I have added to my business cards don't work, the links I have added to my social networks come up with error messages. I'm wondering if because you don't pay for your websites eventually it just closes them down which I find lousy!

So far I've had a website with circle pad and weebly and now Wix, they all have an option to "upgrade" so that you can gain your own domain. It never says that you have to upgrade or your website will be demolished! I am very angry because I worked so hard on those sites and didn't expect to pay for them unless I chose to upgrade! I am going to be complaining to both websites and possibly this one if it has the same way of doing things. IT is bad form.
